With children
You have made the right choice for your family vacation with children:
Our family rooms have connecting doors or sleeping alcoves so that there are separate areas. Or you can book the inexpensive alternative with an extra bed, cot or folding armchair for a child up to the age of approx. 15 years.
We have a spacious outdoor area with plenty of space to play, jump on the trampoline, run, cycle, ride a bobby car or go Kettcar. Games and bicycles (please reserve rental bicycles in advance), bobby cars, etc. are available and do not need to be brought along. In bad weather, simply use our spacious lounge and games room.
A children's play area is available at the restaurant. A children's film is shown there every day from 6:30 p.m. so that parents can continue to eat in a relaxed manner. After breakfast, there are instructive bee tours and bouncy castle actions on the large beehive bouncy castle when the weather is fine. We have deliberately refrained from childcare so that you can enjoy great family experiences together. Parents are supervised on the hotel premises and children use the facilities at their own risk.
The family-friendly half-board already includes non-alcoholic drinks all day long, hot drinks with pastries from 3pm to 5pm and our house wines and draft beer for adults from 6pm to 8pm - both self-service at the buffet and bar. Our breakfast buffet is offered until 10 a.m. You can book packed lunches on site for your day trip or they are already included in the package you have booked.
There are special rooms for dog owners - usually without carpeting. The rooms are suitable for one dog - a maximum of 2 small dogs. We do not charge any fees for the first dog - with 2 small dogs we charge € 10 surcharge per night.
In the wildlife park / nature and environmental park opposite, with an environmental education center, there is a lot to discover for the children, as well as a really large adventure playground and a petting zoo. If the weather is bad, you can visit the OASE adventure pool (modernization works from June to December 2020. The pool is closed and the sauna area has irregular opening times), only about 500m from the hotel. Güstrow is very centrally located between the Baltic Sea and the lake landscape. In short, jam-free journeys by car you can reach many interesting excursion destinations for children, such as the Rostock Zoo, the Bear Mountain near Plau am See, the monkey enclosure near Alt Schwerin or the Müritzeum in Waren.
